Walking With Your Divine Self was born out of the love of four things: spending time in nature, walking in a thoughtful way, travel and coaching. Together with my friend Susan, I had a dream to combine those loves into adventures around the world. We started off walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain back in 2010, and now offer a variety of retreats and workshops. Since my last Camino walk in 2012, my focus has shifted towards adventures that are gentler on the body but no less spiritual or fulfilling, allowing us to connect deeply to the Divine within. Here’s a bit more about me:
My name is Christina Brandt, and I’ve been coaching and teaching in one form or another since I was very young. After spending over 20 years in corporate life, working with colleagues to develop their potential, create great relationships, and have more fun, I decided to set out on my own. Now, I get to wear more comfy clothes and walk barefoot a lot more often while connecting with people in a powerful, yet peaceful way, guiding them through the process of self-discovery.
Looking back, there have been pivotal moments – labyrinth-like turns – that brought me here: About ten years ago, I found myself sitting on a hay bale in a field one starry night, having a beer and talking with friends about what we were meant to do in the world. The first word that surfaced in me was “walk.” I wanted to walk in so many places in the world, and I wanted to deepen my connection to the earth, with others, and to Spirit. I’d learned about landscape design along the way, and found myself constantly drawing winding, circuitous paths in the blueprints of my design projects. One of my instructors said “You really like labyrinths, don’t you.” I replied, “What’s a labyrinth?” Who knew that this question, coupled with that conversation under the stars, would lead me to so many interesting places!
